Test of English as a Foreign Language, Institutional Testing Program (TOEFL ITP)

This test is currently administered to more than 90,000 candidates throughout Mexico; TOEFL ITP is a test mostly used by intermediate and higher education institutions and by English institutes to evaluate the proficiency of the English language at the beginner-intermediate-advanced academic levels.

This test uses an academic context to evaluate the knowledge of English as a Second Language in three areas:

What is TOEFL ITP?

The Institutional TOEFL program evaluates proficiency of English at the beginner-intermediate-advanced levels. It has been structured in accordance with international tests previously administered through the "Paper and Pencil" format.

Each section is individually qualified so that students may easily identify what skills he needs to improve. Then the sections are averaged and a general result is given ranging from 310 to 677 points.
